Museum of Tyrolean Farmhouses in Kramsach

The gothic old town has one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval town centres in all of Austria. The Golden Roof, the Hofburg imperial palace, the Court Church - the list of sights is long. Ambras Castle above Innsbruck is considered to be of great cultural and historical importance. The old town is great to stroll around and do a bit of shopping, with many shops and recommended restaurants.

Spannagel cave on the Hintertux Glacier
The entrance to an underground adventure can be found under the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier. The Spannagel Cave is Tyrol's most famous cave with a length of 10 km. It offers impressive views of the high-alpine karstification of the glacier regions all year round.
lake Achen - steamboat cruise and railway
The Achensee railway fights its way up the mountain, hissing and puffing. The oldest rack and pinion railway in Europe has its starting point only 10 minutes away from the Hotel Schiestl, namely in Jenbach. The Achensee railway conquers 440 metres of altitude difference over a distance of almost seven kilometres. Once you reach the top, the eventful panoramic journey continues with a Lake Achen steamboat cruise. (Please note: the Achensee railway and steamboat do not operate during winter!)
