Museum in the Widumspfiste in Fügen

The main focus is on the history of the Ziller Valley singing families and the related spread of the "Silent Night" Christmas carol throughout the world, shown in pictures and documents. Exhibits relating to art, customs, old handicrafts from the region as well as the large mining and mountain hut department are on display over a further 3 floors.

FeuerWerk – wood experience world in Fügen

Experience wood with all the senses in one of the most modern and economical biomass combined heat and power stations throughout Europe. In addition to the wood experience world, the "SichtBAR" is also worth a visit with its sensational panoramic views.

Fügen show dairy

You can experience the production of the unique semi-hard mountain cheese, Hochfügener Almkäse, Fügener Emmentaler and Tyrolean grey cheese in the show dairy of the Zillertaler Heumilch Sennerei Alpine Dairy. The adjoining museum illustrates how cheese was produced 100 years ago. It is impressive to see the simple tools and equipment used to make cheese in times gone by.

Erlebnistherme Zillertal - THERMAL BATHS

Fun and relaxation await you in this feel-good water world in Fügen: wellness and relaxation area, outdoor pool and at 133 m, not only a very spectacular but also the longest water slide in western Austria. The tyre-tube slide is another highlight for water enthusiasts to enjoy.

ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal - Alpine Dairy

Learn all about the traditional yet modern processing and refinement of grass-fed milk!
Fresh pasture milk from approx. 400 alpine pastures and mountain farms is processed daily in the ErlebnisSennerei Zillertal. Covering an area of 6,000 m² and featuring various stages, you can experience the production of cheese, yoghurt, butter & co. in the Alpine dairy behind glass walls and also enjoy tasters! A visit to the show farm is also exciting, especially for children.

The Zillertalbahn - Railway

Steaming and hissing.... Pulled by the steam locomotive, a ride on the Zillertal Railway has a really nostalgic feel to it. Be captivated and enjoy the experience of travelling like in times gone by. (Please note that the Zillertal Railway does not run during the winter months).

Museum of Tyrolean Farmhouses in Kramsach

Discover the rural culture and life of the olden days. From the stable to the traditional Stube, you can look forward to gaining an insight into the life of the former mountain farmers. Tools and kitchen equipment are also on display. (The farm museum is only open during the warmer months).

Rattenberg

The charming medieval flair of Austria's smallest town just has to be experienced. City tours, sightseeing, events - the small glass-blowing town has a lot to offer. A special tip for your next winter holiday in Tyrol: visit the famous Rattenberg Advent, a tranquil, traditional Advent market far away from the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

Swarovski- crystal worlds- Museum

A visit to the world-famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens should not be missed during your holiday in the Ziller Valley. Internationally and nationally renowned artists, designers and architects interpret crystal in their own unique way in the 17 Chambers of Wonder of the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, creating fascinating, sparkling room and experience concepts. The play tower and playground are further highlights for children.

state capital of Innsbruck

The gothic old town has one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval town centres in all of Austria. The Golden Roof, the Hofburg imperial palace, the Court Church - the list of sights is long. Ambras Castle above Innsbruck is considered to be of great cultural and historical importance. The old town is great to stroll around and do a bit of shopping, with many shops and recommended restaurants.

Arena Coaster

Fun, action and speed await you on the first Alpine roller coaster in the Ziller Valley, the Arena Coaster! But the Zillertal Arena also has plenty more to offer. Entertainment for the whole family is guaranteed.

Spannagel cave on the Hintertux Glacier

The entrance to an underground adventure can be found under the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux Glacier. The Spannagel Cave is Tyrol's most famous cave with a length of 10 km. It offers impressive views of the high-alpine karstification of the glacier regions all year round.

Achensee - steamboat cruise

Embark on an eventful panorama trip on the Achensee with a steamboot from the Achensee Schifffahrt. Relaxed hours on Tyrol's largest lake surrounded by a great mountain world. (Attention: the ships do not operate in winter!)
