Our perfect location makes this possible: From our hotel, you have direct access to the magnificent hiking areas of the upper Zillertal. The Zillertal is considered a true paradise for hiking enthusiasts. East of Innsbruck, it stretches all the way to Mayrhofen, where it branches into the four side valleys of Zillergrund, Zemmgrund, Stillupptal, and Tuxertal. In the upper part of the valley, you’ll find the idyllic Zillertal Alps Nature Park. The main Zillertal ridge runs along the border with South Tyrol. Surrounded by 55 three-thousand-meter peaks, the Zillertal offers endless hiking enjoyment for every taste.

Cycling Through the Zillertal

With55 peaks over 3,000 meters and 1,300 km of developed bike and cycling routes, the Zillertal is a paradise for cyclists. Beautiful Bike routes of all difficulty levels guarantee the finest mountain biking experiences. With rejuvenating fitness tours combined with convenient bike transport via the mountain railways or the Zillertalbahn, there’s something for everyone. As a special highlight, the majority of the routes and tour details are available via GPS. Seven cable cars with bike transport and countless service points, rental shops, and guided tours make cycling a carefree pleasure. You’re welcome to store your bike for free in the ski room at the Hotel Schiestl.

Families can enjoy the wide, sunny valley floor as a peaceful bike path. Here, you can take in the unmistakable mountain panorama of the Zillertal at a leisurely pace. The biking experience is rounded out by a selection of mountain huts that invite you to linger and sample the healthy and delicious natural products of the Zillertal.

As the first golf course in the Zillertal, the Uderns Golf Course has everything passionate golfers love. The 18-hole championship course spans an area of approximately 65 hectares. In addition to a spacious practice facility with covered tees and a short game area featuring a putting and chipping green as well as a sand bunker, it offers a PGA Golf School and a clubhouse.

The course is a hot tip among golf fans. Even beginners will find excellent training conditions at the PGA Golf School. Certified golf pros are there to guide you and support you with tips and tricks. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you can hit the ball with precision.
